Bookkeeper-For-You is a free online service which offers an
easy way to keep track of income and expenses for one or
more projects.
It's designed primarily for self employed small business
people with basic accounting needs.
Access
Your Bookkeeper-For-You databases are stored online,
and are thus are available to any approved member of your
team, from any Net connected computer.
- You can access your financial records while on the road, or from
any computer in your office.
- Both you, and your Net business partner on the
other side of the world, can enter expenses and income directly in to
the bookkeeping system for your joint venture.

Your Bookkeeper-For-You account is stored at a
professional datacenter
that's been in the hosting business since 1996, and whose own enterprise
lives or dies upon it's ability to secure it's machines
from unapproved access.

personal computer?
However, none of this really matters because you don't store
any bank, credit card, or other critical information within your account.
You don't even have to enter your name. Thus, even if someone
stole your records, they would have no idea whose records they had.

Flexibility
Create custom income and payment categories
to serve the unique needs of your business.
Categories help you keep track of subsets of
data within a database.
For instance, if you have
an Internet business you might want to divide your income
in to categories such as, "ebay sales"
and "consulting income" and "software sales".
Once you create a category, it is automatically
added to a drop down menu in the search feature
so you can quickly find any type of data within
your records.
Add a note to any record. Then use the search
feature to search all notes in all records.

Use multiple databases, user created categories, and searchable notes
to organize your Bookkeeper-For-You account in whatever
manner makes sense for your projects.

Summaries
The Profit Calculator and Tax Form features make it easy
for you to generate big picture summaries of your data.
The Profit Calculator quickly reveals income, expenses and net profit/loss
for each month, and year totals.
The Tax Form feature provides a concise report showing your
income total, and expenses per category. American users can feed
this data directly in to the Schedule C tax form.
When summaries don't provide the detail you need, you can use
the Find Feature to quickly isolate details such as, "All
income generated from Ebay sales in the month of March 2005."
